Rail vacuum circuit breakers

Rail Vacuum Circuit Breakers are usually multi-functional AC vacuum circuit breakers combined with several other functions such as Disconnect Switches, Earthing Switches or Pantograph Interlocking valve making them a unique and small unit. Small size and light weight make vacuum circuit breakers perfect solution for rolling stock running on 15 kV or/and 25 kV railway networks. In addition to operating frequency of 50 Hz and 60 Hz sometimes 16.7 Hz frequency is also required. Because of rail vacuum circuit breaker location on the train and wide operating temperatures on the train routes temperature from -50 C to + 70 C is also one of the requirements.
